Another rainy day in my part of the world, hope you guys aren't having to experiences this, it's very tiring.

But, I promised I would try my hardest to keep up with the blogsposts but this week, the schedule is going to be a little different.

I have study leave on Thursday, an exam of Friday and after the exam I am away over the weekend to do a walking expedition. I also have two fairly important exams Monday and Tuesday this week, meaning I won't be able to blog until Wednesday, but if you guys bear with me for this week, I will make it up to you when I get back.

Thanks for your support guys, you mean so much to me!

Catchup and explanation

I can't say sorry enough, you may notice a difference in the upload date and the date on my previous date.. I am back to school.

I was unfortunate to go back on Monday, and since then it has been busy catching the bus at 7.40 and coming home at 5. Getting back into routine and catching up with homework, and friends. But it's the weekend now, so I will try and make it up to you with some new blog posts! Woooo!?

So I am really sorry, I should have uploaded but, I guess I haven't and will try hard to not let that happen again, ooooh promises!

Anyway, that's why I haven't been here and hope that's an okay enough reason..

If there's any posts you want me to write then let me know. What have you guys been up to this week?

Review: MUA £1 kohl eyeliners

These eyeliners haven't had the recognition they deserve.

The are as chip as chips, at only one pound of an eyeliner, it's worth trying one, you wouldn't regret it.

They are easy to apply and have a nice colour pigmentation on each liner.

They are soft and really easy to apply and the have a bonus of coming with a sharpener on the lid which is great for when your on the go.

The eyeliners are kohl and do not last very well, but for a pound it's not too bad. They also come off easily so it's good if you've made a mistake but not so good for an oily eyelid I would not think, they do apply to the waterline but as I said, you would probably have to keep giving it touch ups.

Overall, I really enjoy these eyeliners and recommend them, they are available from superdrug.

Review: Lee Stafford Sea Salt Spray

This product has been out for some time, but none the less I was so excited to get it!
I had only found one or two reviews at the time of purchase from people whose views were completely different to mine, so I wanted to let you know what I thought.

The product was just under £12 when I bought this product. The scent is okay and the packaging is fairly decent.

When sprayed onto my hair, there's no difference when it is dry or wet, it makes a very very very slight kink at the ends of my hair. It also leaves it looking like I haven't bothered washing my hair for weeks.

I personally found that this salt spray did not give me a nice beach wave or finish to my hair but made it oil, sticky and I groomed. Not what I had hoped, if you guys have any ideas on how I can get this to work for me, it would be greatly appreciated, I still have so much left and I would love for it to work.

What do you guys think? Have you tried it?

Review: Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

Now I know I am slightly late on the band wagon as far as writing this review goes, but I have had this foundation for quite a while now, so this review will be based on a very thorough experience, which hopefully will make up for the lateness of this review.

This foundation is very light on the skin and gives the  impression your hardly wearing anything. The    coverage is buildable, so you can cover the areas needed easily.

The foundation is runny in consistency compared to a lot of other foundations and it is easy to blend and work around your face.

The foundation spread out.
Foundation fully blended (sorry about my veins - ew! aha)

It gives a very natural finish, and after months of using this foundation, there is still most of it left, which is great as I absolutely love it and it has been my fave foundation to date!

There is a slight sent but it quickly fades and I have become accustomed to the scent during the time I have used this, so it can't be overbearing. It's a fresh scent, can I maybe say slightly apricoty? I might be completely off there though!

As far as the packaging goes, it's nice and compact in the little glass jar and I really quite like the packing, to me it looks really fresh, similar to the content inside. It comes in a glass bottle and it is small enough to take travelling. One thing is the writing wears off and the fact there is no pump, isn't fabulous, but it's not the end of the world.

Overview of the bottle, I use the shade 110 ivory, their lightest shade.

(Sorry its messy!)

What a new bottle looks like
(I do not own this image, image was found on google images)

I am really glad I picked this foundation up and can tell I will be purchasing it again and again and again, it's a new staple for me as I don't like heavy foundation, it's natural enough but can cover blemishes I have, which is saving me money on the concealer front!

Oh and they have a wide variety of shades, which is good too!

Definitely worth a try!

What do you guys think?

New Lush Bath Bomb For Easter - Henata

This is one cute little bath bomb!

The description from Lush:
"Mexican piƱatas are colourful model animals that children smash to reveal hidden sweeties inside. It’s a lot of fun, and we wanted to create our own version for the bath. We chose a cheerful chicken and called her Henata! Smash her against the side of your bath for an explosion of wonderful surprises – a mini ballistic egg, and a blooming big bunch of soap paper flowers."

This is such an amazing bath bomb that explodes with paper flowers floating in the water, which turns a super bright yellow - orange colour.

It comes in the shape of a chicken and I think its super sweet, and quite different compared to the other seasonal bath bombs Lush has to offer this Easter.

The overall appearance of the bath bomb, not to dissimilar to the enchanter bath bomb

This is defo worth a look at for sure, they are priced at £4.50 each. I will probably be purchasing this in the near future - better hurry before they are discontinued.
